Join us for an art exhibit featuring local artist, Whitney Virden, who participated in the Art in Bloom Floral exhibition at the Philbrook Museum in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Her floral sculpture, which narrates a poignant tale of a mother’s loss, symbolizing the historical trauma of native children sent to boarding schools and the journey towards healing, won the people’s choice award. Visit the sculpture in person and listen to the artist share insights into her creative process and the profound message conveyed through her artwork.
The exhibit is open to the public and on display from August 12 – 15 during operating hours.
